Professional-grade match intelligence, built for coaches who run their club from the touchline. Free to download. No setup required.
"A parent with an iPhone Notes app is the current state of the art at grassroots level."
Professional clubs have analysts, data platforms, video review systems. Your club has nothing. The result? Decisions made on gut feel, game plans that don't evolve, and players who never get the feedback they need to improve. RugbyCoach.AI changes that.
Built around how grassroots coaches actually work. Open the app, tap once to start. No accounts needed for spectators.
Count-up or count-down timer. Log every try, conversion, penalty goal, drop goal and penalty try — with who scored and who kicked.
Track up to two simultaneous yellow cards per team. Live countdown pills show exactly when each player returns. Pauses with the match clock.
Every event logged with minute stamps. Kickoffs, scores, cards. A complete minute-by-minute record you can review at half time or after the match.
Push score updates to WhatsApp, Facebook, or anywhere in seconds. Share the full result card at full time. Keep the squad informed in real time.
Save your squads by team. Shirt numbers, kicker lists, league info — all stored and ready. Set up a match in under 30 seconds.
Connect directly to England Rugby's calendar. Your upcoming fixtures appear on the home screen. Tap to start a match with teams pre-filled.
Most sports apps are built for spectators. RugbyCoach.AI is built for the person responsible for the result. Every decision in the product asks: does this help a coach during a match? If not, it doesn't ship.
The result is an app that does less, better. Fast to start. Fast to log. Fast to share. Nothing in the way between you and the game.
We're building the data infrastructure that grassroots rugby has never had. Right now, that means a match tracker. But the data we collect today becomes the foundation for AI coaching insights, video analysis, and team performance trends that evolve with every game you play.
I've spent my career at the intersection of sport and performance. As Academy Analyst and S&C Coach at Harlequins FC, I worked with elite talent and helped build the performance culture behind their Premiership title. I hold an MSc in Sport Psychology from Brunel University and have refereed over 100 senior fixtures up to Level 7.
Today I coach three senior men's XVs at Reading RFC in Counties 1 Southern North. Standing on that touchline every week — watching a parent type the score into their Notes app — I knew exactly what needed to be built.
"The gap between what professional clubs have and what grassroots clubs have is enormous. It doesn't need to be."
